Data collection and usage

The following categories of data are collected and processed on our website (ungen.ai) in accordance with the policies and legal basis set forth by the GDPR:

• In the process of using Ungen, users create AI boards/chats. This data is persisted on our servers. You can delete this data by deleting the board or closing your account at any time.
• Boards are private by default and readable only by their author. Sharing a board makes it publicly available to the world and can be read by anyone who knows the URL. Sharing of a board can be switched off at any time in which case it reverts to being private.
• In order to maintain your user account on our service, we collect a name and email address during signup. This data is long lived and required for the functioning of the service. You have full control over this data and you can delete it at any time.
• As a standard prerequisite for the functioning of our website and to prevent abuse, our servers log visitors' IP addresses in an internal log. This data is retained for a maximum of 2 weeks and is pruned automatically.

Data sharing

We employ the following third party data processors for processing your personal data:

• Paddle.com and Stripe.com for payment processing and subscription management.
• ReflowHQ.com for account management and authentication.
• Postmark.com for email delivery.

Closing your account removes all data that's stored with third party processors.

We only store session-related cookies in your browser. We don't employ trackers, pixels or similar technology. Clearing your browser cookies or signing out of your account will clear the cookies our system sets in your browser.
